How to Register

What You Get When You Join Our Service

At Breedlove & Associates, we take pride in eliminating all the work and worry for you by taking care of everything you need as a household employer.  Specifically, we handle:

  • Tax Preparation, Filing & Remittance.  We handle all state and federal tax preparation requirements.  We also direct file the returns with each of the tax agencies and remit the employee and employer taxes on your behalf.  Lastly, you'll receive full support anytime you need it -- with unlimited access to our team of tax experts at no extra charge.
  • HR & Labor Law Guidance.  Most families eventually have questions about things like overtime, unemployment, disability, workers' compensation, health insurance, vacation, paid sick leave, etc.  In this area, an ounce of prevention is definitely worth a pound of cure.  Big, expensive problems can be easily avoided with a little expert guidance.  That's our job -- and, again, we don't charge extra for it.
  • Payroll Management.  Based on your employee's compensation and elections on Form W-4, we calculate tax withholdings and process your payroll each pay period -- posting it for your preview on your own password-protected client service site at myBreedlove.com.  Immediately prior to each payroll reporting deadline, we'll send you an email reminder with the standard gross pay and net pay amounts.  If you have any changes to report, you can modify your payroll in seconds.  If not, we'll process the standard pay and no action will be required on your part.  You and your employee will get professional paystubs with line-item details for the pay period and the year-to-date totals -- all of which will be stored at myBreedlove.com so you and your employee can privately access your entire payroll history anytime you want.

You have two options for how the money moves from your account into your employee's account:

Option 1: DIRECT DEPOSIT.  For ultimate convenience, we can pay your employee via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).  We'll EFT the money from your account into your employee's account -- you won't have to write paychecks and your employee won't have to go to the bank every payday.

Option 2: MANUAL PAYCHECK.  If you prefer, you can write and distribute your own paychecks manually each payday.

 

Service Fees

 

    Option 1: Comprehensive Tax & Payroll Service + DIRECT DEPOSIT

= $195 per quarter.

 

OR

 

   Option 2: Comprehensive Tax & Payroll Service + MANUAL PAYCHECK

= $170 per quarter.

 

Important Notes About Our Service Fees

  • There is no long-term commitment.  We operate on a quarter-to-quarter basis and charge our quarterly fee after the work is completed at the end of each calendar quarter.
  • In addition to the quarterly fee, we have two other fees: 1) Upon registration, we have a one-time fee of $100 to set up your account, obtain your tax IDs and file your new hire report;  2) At the end of the calendar year, we charge $75 to prepare all your year-end tax documents (W-2, W-3, Schedule H, State Annual Reconciliation). 
  • Fees are for one employee.  There is an incremental fee of $50 per quarter for each additional employee who has wages within the quarter.
  • All of our service options include unlimited access to our team of tax and legal experts so you can always get prompt, professional support and advice any time you need it.

What to Expect After You Register


Step 1. We will confirm receipt and follow up with any questions we may have about your information, your employee’s information, or your payroll instructions. Once we have everything we need, we'll get your account activated within the next business day.

Step 2. We will prepare and mail your Signature-Ready Setup Forms.  Please sign, date and mail back to us in the self-addressed, postage-paid envelope.

Step 3. Keep an eye out for mail or email from us. If you receive something from us, it’s important to your tax situation; please read it carefully and respond promptly.

Step 4. Relax and enjoy life. We’ll take care of all the tax compliance details and monitor changing tax laws for you. If you ever have a question or concern, just give us a call. We’re always happy to help.
